Check Insights Page Overview

The Check Insights page offers a comprehensive view of the health of entities associated with a specific check. It provides information on all check results within Soundcheck for any entity that has result for a particular check.

Header Information​

At the top of the page, you'll find essential information about the check:

  • Name: The name of the check.
  • Owner: The primary contact or owner of the check.
  • Description: A brief overview of the check’s purpose.

If you have the necessary permissions, an Edit button will be visible, allowing you to modify check by navigating to the check editing page.

Filter Bar​

Directly beneath the header is the filter bar, designed to help you refine the displayed data:

  • Filters Available: State
  • Usage: Select filters to view specific subsets of entities. For instance, setting the State filter to "Failed" will display only those entities which are failing the check.

Current Status​

The Current Status card displays current metrics related to the overall health of the entities associated with the check. It displays all the states matching the filter criteria, the number of entities in each state, and the percentage of entities in each state.

Historical Status​

The Historical Status card displays historical metrics related to the overall health of the entities associated with the check. It displays all the states matching the filter criteria, the number of entities in each state, and the percentage of entities in each state over time.

  • Utilize the filter bar effectively to focus on entities of interest.
