Configuring Backstage

Backstage is up and running! As you might have seen, it's not yet tailored to your infrastructure. To make it easy to get started, Backstage apps start with guest login, and have only a handful of sample components in the software catalog.

You're going to make some changes to customize the Backstage app.

There's a few things you'll do next:

  • Set up PostgreSQL
  • Set up application name
  • Add authentication
  • Add integrations
  • Set up for production
