Reference: legacy experience

If you are a new AiKA user, you do not need to read this page. It is only relevant for users who used a previous version of AiKA.

AiKA has recently evolved to a new agentic system. This page contains reference information for existing users of the legacy single-step AiKA system.

Features Being Removed​

Some existing features are no longer available in AiKA:

  • Custom system prompt configuration
  • Response editing and regeneration
  • Chat sharing functionality

Some of these features may be reintroduced in future releases based on user feedback and requirements.

Existing chat history will not be migrated to the new AiKA. Users will start with a fresh chat history when transitioning to the new system.

Support During Transition​

The legacy single-step AiKA system will continue to be available at /aika/old. Individual users can access the legacy system regardless of whether their organization has enabled agentic AiKA. Organizations preferring to delay the transition can disable the feature by setting aika.agentic: false in Config Manager.
