Pre-built plugin installation is being rolled out gradually and might not be available in your instance yet. Look for the Custom Plugins tab under Admin → Plugin Settings. If the tab is not present, follow the previous installer instructions. See Switching to pre-built plugins for rollout details and help moving existing plugins.
Use these steps to remove a pre-built plugin. For custom plugins, manage the publishing source.
  1. From Plugin Settings, click on the plugin you want to remove to open its detail page, then click Uninstall
Plugin detail page with the Uninstall
button
  1. In the uninstall dialog, review the packages that will be removed

removed
Portal’s uninstall operation removes the plugin’s installed packages, not its database data. Review the plugin’s documentation for any separate data retention and cleanup requirements, including data held by external services.
  1. Click Uninstall to confirm and begin the removal
  2. Portal removes the packages and closes the dialog when the operation succeeds.
During migration, if the plugin shows Legacy copy installed, uninstalling removes the pre-built version and restores the previously installed copy. See Verify the replacements for rollback guidance.

Using the previous installer

For packages installed with the previous installer, use the same uninstall controls above. After you select Uninstall, Portal starts a build. When the build completes successfully, select Finish to return to Plugin Settings.
